Case study · Senior Frontend Engineer — Frontend Owner
Sole frontend ownership of a multi-tenant HR-tech SaaS platform at European scale
How I architected and owned the frontend of Alleo's Customer Manager Portal — used across 5,000+ employer organizations on a platform serving millions of employees — through two rebrands and continuous feature delivery.
- React
- TypeScript
- Redux Toolkit
- Nx
- Cypress
- GitHub Actions
- AWS S3
- CloudFront
- ECharts

Problem
Alleo needed a single frontend owner to architect, build, and evolve a complex multi-tenant B2B platform for enterprise HR and finance teams — covering onboarding, budgeting, approvals, benefits, analytics, and integration-heavy admin workflows — while the company underwent two consecutive rebrands.
Approach
Designed a scalable multi-app architecture on an Nx monorepo with a shared component library, feature-module structure, and design-system alignment. Localization and analytics were first-class concerns from the start.
Architecture
React + TypeScript + Redux Toolkit in an Nx monorepo; shared UI component library; ECharts for analytics dashboards; CI/CD via GitHub Actions → AWS S3 + CloudFront; Cypress E2E coverage.
Trade-offs
Prioritized architectural consistency and long-term maintainability over short-term feature speed — building reusable systems that could absorb two rebrands and continued scale without requiring a rewrite.
Impact
Platform used by 5,000+ employers across Europe. Sole frontend engineer accountable for feature delivery, architectural evolution, and production stability across the full rebrand lifecycle.
